New Years Eve 2010
Mom and Dad came over and we just hung out at our house. We ate a lot of junk--we played some games and we watched the ball drop on t.v. Well some of us watched the ball drop. Carter was trying so so so hard to stay awake. She almost made it. It was 11:50 and she started to drift of to sleep. I kept poking her and telling her to wake up it is almost midnight. She said "I am just resting my eyes." Then at 11:55 I tried again "WAKE UP!" Nope--she was done. In the space of 5 minutes it was lights out for Carter. She has yet to make it to midnight on New Year's Eve. Maybe next year.
I took this picture so Carter could see midnight even though she was sleeping through it.
Courtlyne tooted her little horn and we all shared a New Years kiss with the ones we love.

Just wanted to send some love your way. I ran into Allison at a gymnastics class in Saratoga Springs and she told me that your mother had passed away. I was so sorry to hear. I didn't know that she had cancer. I hope you are doing well. Know that you are loved.
